West Coast Automotive solved my 2002 Subaru Forester check engine light problem. They diagnosed the catalytic converter as the problem, replaced it, and that was it. No guessing or retries. To be realistic, I was warned that more problems might be uncovered once the catalytic converter was replaced, but there were no more problems. While the car was with them, they replaced the struts, and rebuilt the rear wheel brakes. I have waited a while to write this review, because I was barely driving the car after I got it back. But last weekend, we drove it from the Bay Area to eastern Oregon to catch the eclipse, It made the round trip flawlessly, and was a pleasure to drive. Says a lot for West Coast Automotive and for Subaru, that a Subaru Forester with 230,000 miles is running so well.
